Credit Union Foundation Of The Dakotas

The Credit Union Foundation of the Dakotas (CUFD) is a unique shared investment program that strengthens the credit union movement throughout the Dakotas, across the US, and worldwide. You choose to help all credit unions make a difference.

As a voluntary, cooperative venture, Credit Union Foundation of the Dakotas works thanks to a strong partnership with the National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF), corporate credit unions, the National Cooperative Bank, and other state leagues and foundations.

The mission of the CUFD is to "Provide broad based financial education for credit union members, their employees, and respective communities in North and South Dakota. In addition, we support our credit unions in their efforts to carry out the people helping people philosophy in times of need."

Donate to the Credit Union Foundations of the Dakotas
Individuals or organizations can donate directly to the CUFD by mailing a check with our donation form to the CUFD.

Credit Unions can also easily donate to the CUFD through the National Credit Union Foundation's (NCUF) Community Investment Fund (CIF).

NCUF's Community Investment Fund (CIF) is an award-winning philanthropic model that enables the credit union community to invest in a traditional deposit account, and contribute a portion of the interest earned to support NCUF's national grant programs as well as the good works of the credit union state league foundations.

By investing in the CIF's General Fund, you help to expand the capacity of credit unions in the Dakotas to serve their members and their communities, while earning a return for your credit union! Not to mention the investment is FDIC insured, you choose how much you want to donate, interest rates are competitive, there are no fees and you choose the type of investment!

Why is it good to have your credit union a part of the Community Investment Fund?
