2019 CUAD Awards

Entry submissions for the 2019 CUAD Awards are now open!

Do you know someone at your credit union either employee or volunteer, who has an interesting story and has contributed to your credit union? We encourage you to consider nominating them for one of our annual awards. Each year, CUAD honors credit union employees with prestigious awards, including Professional of the Year, Rising Star, Volunteer of the Year, and our highest award, the Hall of Fame Award.

Perhaps your credit union has positively affected your community, then we hope you consider nominating them for the CU Social Good Award. Maybe there was a marketing communication piece that proved to be a successful investment, in which nominating your credit union for the Marketing and Communication Award would be a good idea too. Don't forget about the Credit Union Chapter of the Year Award which recognizes one chapter for its outstanding achievements in advocacy, communication, education and community involvement.

Louise Herring Philosophy-in-Action Member Service Award

Desjardins Financial Education Award

CUNA created the Desjardins program to recognize leadership within the credit union movement on behalf of financial literacy for all ages. Naming the award after Alphonse Desjardins emphasizes the movement's long-time commitment to youth. Besides founding the first credit unions in Canada and the U.S., Desjardins pioneered youth savings clubs and in-school "banks," known as caisses scolaires. This award considers all activities supporting the personal finance education of members and non-members, including, but not limited to, face-to-face teaching using proprietary materials and curricula, as well as financial literacy leadership efforts.
