9:00 am - 4:30 pm

The Credit Union Association of the Dakotas will be holding a Small Credit Union Roundtable on designed specifically for CEOs of Credit Unions $100 million and under.

We are extremely excited to have Tom Sakash, Manager of CUNA’s Small Credit Union Initiatives, join us this year. Tom is leading CUNA’s new efforts to serve small credit unions. At our event, he will share specific case studies of small credit unions that are thriving because they found their niche. Then, he can help you find yours with an exercise: “What’s your niche?” Even though Small CUs are offering the same products as community banks and other financial service providers, small credit unions can offer these products differently, and frankly, much better.

This one-day event will be focused on sharing and networking what small credit unions need to do to grow and become relevant. The main topics that people want to talk about are loans, deposits, sustaining member growth and how it affects our business lifecycle, and how businesses prioritize those necessary services. We will also address issues that deal with staff and volunteer training and recruitment, third-party vendor risks, and social media policies.
