At this year’s MonDak Roundtable February 12 – 13, 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada, there is a special one-hour session exclusively for board members and volunteers! What if your board could go through a regular alignment process that would reduce friction, increase performance and create a more efficient group?

If this information sounds intriguing to you, you don’t want to miss the pre-conference session on February 12: “The Board Calibration Process: Alignment is Not Just for Tires” with Kevin Smith. Credit union boards spend plenty of time in discussion and debate; it’s familiar territory. Smith will explain how, through the calibration process, boards can quickly and easily map out where members are in relation to each other on critical issues of governance and oversight, then have calculated conversations make sure that everyone has the same vision and direction for the organization.

Kevin Smith is Publisher and a consultant with TEAM Resources and he brings extensive experience to grow leaders within the credit union industry. He also oversees the TEAM Resources board self-evaluation programs. Previously, he spent ten years at the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) as the Director of Volunteer Education. In that role Kevin developed and oversaw programs for credit union executives, boards, and volunteers. Behind the scenes, Kevin was also involved with a team of CUNA leaders focused on creating a culture of innovation within the trade association. He holds a Master’s degree from DePaul University, Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree from Miami University, Oxford, OH. We are thrilled to bring his level of expertise to our Dakota members.

The MonDak Roundtable is an exclusive opportunity for credit union CEOs, Board Members, and Volunteers from North Dakota, South Dakota, and Montana to gather together to network, learn new strategies and ideas, and meet new faces. Plan now to join us February 12 – 13 in one of the most exciting cities in the world.
