Condolences to Maynard Schmidt Family

CUAD is sad to report that a long-time credit union advocate, Maynard Schmidt, passed away on January 23rd at Sanford Health in Fargo. Maynard was well known by many in the credit union industry, as he served on the board of directors at United Savings Credit Union for many years.

“United Savings Credit Union is deeply saddened by the passing of one of our long time board members, Maynard Schmidt,” said Nick Woodard, President/CEO of United Savings. “Maynard has been a staple of our board since 1997 and a true credit union champion. He believed in treating every member equally and always had the members’ best interest in mind. The entire United Savings Credit Union family will miss his positive attitude and genuine thoughtfulness. Maynard was truly one of a kind,” he added.
