Capital Credit Union Promotes Kari Falter

Kari Falter was recently promoted to financial services representative at Capital Credit Union’s Mandan Branch. In this role, she will be responsible for consumer lending including auto, RV and home equity loans, delivery of deposit products such as money market accounts and certificates of deposit, and actively soliciting, promoting, and servicing credit union products and services. Falter earned an associate degree from Bismarck State College in 2016. She has been with Capital Credit Union since July 2016, most recently as a head teller at the Mandan Branch.


Levi Brunmaier Joins Sentinel FCU

Sentinel Federal Credit Union of Box Elder, SD is pleased to announce that Levi Brunmaier recently joined the team as the Credit Union’s Vice President/Risk Management Officer. He will be responsible for the Credit Union’s compliance functions and will oversee the Collections Department as well as provide guidance on the overall risk management of the Credit Union. Levi has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and five years compliance experience in the financial industry and is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM). Additionally, Levi served in the United States Air Force for 10 years.


Senior Management Opportunity at Capital Credit Union 

Vice President of Loan Operations (#18486) – Capital Credit Union has an exciting full-time senior management opportunity for a highly motivated and goal oriented individual to lead their business, mortgage and consumer loan operations. This position will be based out of the Main Office in Bismarck. Responsibilities include management and oversight of the processing and servicing of business, mortgage and consumer loans, while ensuring compliance with all applicable rules, regulations and policies. Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of seven years related experience with three years in a management position is required. Upcoming Chapter Events

Central Chapter of Credit Unions has scheduled their meeting for Tuesday, February 19. Oahe Federal Credit Union will host the event at The Ground Round – 2233 Kansas Avenue SE – Huron. Meet at 6:00 p.m. for dinner. The evening program is Robbery Training with Drew Heaton from the Pierre Police Department. Old West Chapter of Credit Unions has scheduled their meeting for Thursday, February 21. Med5 Federal Credit Union will host the event at West River Electric—3250 East Highway 44—Rapid City. Meet at 6:00 p.m. for dinner, with program to follow - BSA Training with Amy Kleinschmit, Chief Compliance Officer with Credit Union Association of the Dakotas. RSVP to Mitchell Loken, Black Hills Federal Credit Union by February 14.

Red River Chapter of Credit Unions has scheduled their meeting for Tuesday, February 26. The host credit unions are Capital Credit Union and Freedom Community Credit Union. Meet at Double Tree Hotel – 825 East Beaton Drive – West Fargo, ND. Registration opens at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 6:15 p.m. Program this evening will be Robbery Training presented by the Cass County Sherriff Office. RSVP to Laura Bryson, Town & Country Credit Union at 701.356.1725 by February 20.
