BHFCU Insurance Services Agent Receives Elite Designation

Rapid City, S.D. - BHFCU Insurance Services, LLC. is pleased to announce that insurance agent Carol Buckingham has successfully completed the Society of Certified Insurance Service Representative’s continuing education program and earned the organization’s distinguished CISR Elite designation. To achieve the CISR Elite designation, insurance professionals must complete courses covering all areas of insurance risks and exposures, as well as pass extensive examinations. Buckingham is one of only 11 individuals to earn the CISR Elite status in the state of South Dakota. As part of the designation, Buckingham will complete annual continuing education requirements, which ensure that designees stay up-to-date on important policy changes and trends within the insurance industry. She will continue to serve clients from BHFCU’s Mountain View Member Service Center at 850 Mountain View Road in Rapid City.

Jacqi Lien Promoted at Town & Country Credit Union

Fargo, ND - Jacqi Lien was recently promoted to Executive Mortgage Officer at Town & Country CU. Originally from Adams, N.D., she now lives in West Fargo, N.D. Lien joined Town & Country Credit Union in 2006 and has progressed through many positions since then, including teller, mortgage loan processor, mortgage loan processor supervisor and mortgage loan officer assistant. Lien holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from North Dakota State University. In her new position, she will join the executive mortgage team in the Fargo area offering local mortgage lending services for individuals and first-time homebuyers. Her office is located in the 925 14th Ave. E, West Fargo branch.

Black Hills FCU Offers VIBZ Scholarships

Rapid City, SD - Black Hills Federal Credit Union is now accepting applications for their 2018 VIBZ Scholarship. BHFCU will award $2,000 scholarships to eight high school seniors, who demonstrate outstanding commitment, leadership, community service and academic achievement in their lives. To qualify, applicants must be in their senior year of high school, 19 years old or younger, and a VIBZ member at BHFCU. Students can use the scholarship at any accredited vocational and technical school, college or university during the 2018 – 2019 academic year. Applications are available online at bhfcu.com and all BHFCU locations. Completed applications must be received by March 7, 2018.  Recipients will be announced by April 23.
