Be a CU Hero Today!

Today, the Credit Union Foundation of the Dakotas (CUFD) is excited to launch the 3rd Dakota Credit Unions Care Campaign. The campaign takes place all through April, in conjunction with CUNA’s National Credit Union Youth Month.

The Dakota Credit Unions Care Campaign features little green CU Hero icons to be displayed throughout credit unions across the two states. We encourage credit union staff, volunteers and member to make a $1 donation with all proceeds going directly to the CUFD to support children’s charities, financial education, scholarships, and community needs.

In addition, Jeff Olson is issuing a challenge to all CEOs and credit union leaders to join him in making a $1 pledge for each day in April! What do you say?

Some campaign notes:

  • If you need additional icons, contact Debbie Kruckenberg or call 701-250-3924 to have some sent your way – please state how many you would like (in groups of 50).
  • If your credit union wants to order T-shirts for your team to wear throughout this campaign, CUFD will provide you with the necessary artwork, and each credit union can, at their own expense, work with the T-shirt vendor of choice. To learn more about this, contact Lori Welder.
  • Please ask your members for a $1 donation to purchase a CU Hero icon to support CUFD charities and programs. Fill in the member’s name and hang the CU Heroes on your lobby walls or windows.
  • Promote on social media. If you need the CU Hero Facebook cover photo or Facebook/Twitter graphic, contact Lori Welder.
  • When the campaign concludes at the end of April, please submit a check made payable to the Credit Union Foundation of the Dakotas, from the funds collected. Checks should be mailed to the CUAD office at 2005 North Kavaney Drive, Bismarck, ND 58501.

We truly appreciate your support of this campaign and CUFD initiatives in our efforts to create more positive awareness of credit unions. Your Foundation Board says "THANK YOU!"
