Registration is open for the 2019 Credit Union Professionals Roundtable. This year, the event is scheduled for Bismarck, North Dakota, on August 28 and 29, and you are invited to join us!

Each year, credit union professionals from North Dakota and South Dakota gather to discuss and learn from each other on a variety of topics. This event is open to all credit union professionals; the only requirement is a willingness to ask questions and engage in conversation with others during this attendee-driven meeting. This is a great opportunity to bounce ideas and issues around a group of your peers!

Last year, HR was a hot topic that drove a lot of discussion and questions about how other credit unions were dealing with particular situations. Fraud issues, from counterfeit checks and ACH to potential elder abuse scenarios, also drew a lot of great discussion and questions. Clever marketing strategies added some creative and fun exchanges to the mix as well!

“This conference is one of my favorite annual events because I learn so much from the attendees as the discussion progresses along,” says Amy Kleinschmit, CUAD’s Chief Compliance Officer. “Attendees are also learning from each other – and often, the hot button issues are not what I would expect. For example, who knew discussion on deceased members would evolve and trump discussion on other issues which was the case at last year’s roundtable,” she added.

We are looking forward to another great event in Bismarck this year. The CU Professionals Roundtable is the perfect, casual setting to gain a better understanding of the pressing topics and opportunities your credit union faces and issues relevant to our Dakota credit unions. The meeting will be held at the Country Inn & Suites – 3205 North 14th Street. We hope you can join us in Bismarck!

Register now for this great learning and networking opportunity. You will be requested to submit topics for discussion in the registration process.
