Free Virtual Discovery Conference from CMG!

CUNA Mutual Group has announced registration is open for its 10th annual Discovery Conference being held on Aug. 15. Play Golf for a Good Cause!

Credit Union Foundation of the Dakotas (CUFD) Golf Scramble will be held on Friday, August 16th at the Jamestown Country Club in Jamestown, ND. This is the CUFD’s 3rd annual golf outing, and all proceeds raised from this event go directly to the CUFD to be used for high school and college scholarships, grants for financial literacy, and to Dakota charities such as Habitat for Humanity, local Red Cross organizations, and more. CDRLF Grants Open

Low-income credit unions interested in Community Development Revolving Loan Fund grants can submit applications until July 20. Credit unions interested in applying for CDRLF grants should register with the federal government’s System for Award Management. SAM.gov is an official U.S. government website that collects, validates, stores, and disseminates business information about the federal government's trading partners to support contract awards, grants, and electronic payment processes. Grant requirements, application instructions, and other information are available in the 2019 Grant Round Application Guidelines. Credit unions should use the NCUA’s CyberGrants portal to submit grant applications.

 

East River FCU Holding Open House for Retiring CEO

East River FCU is holding an open house to honor Mechelle Johnson, retiring CEO, who has led the credit union for the past 24 years. Please join them for light refreshments in the credit union lobby on June 28th from 3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. CT.

 

Trasi Smith Promoted at East River FCU

East River FCU has announced the advancement of Trasi Smith to the VP of Operations position. She previously held the role of Senior Member Service Representative within the organization. Smith has served in the financial industry for eight years, four of them with East River FCU. During that time, she was responsible for a variety of tasks and completed training relating to the many different aspects of the credit union organization. The VP of Operations oversees all credit union operations and serves alongside the President.
