Janel Lowe Retiring After 30 Years at Freedom Community CU

Janel Lowe, Sr. Service Rep. and Mortgage Loan Officer at Freedom Community CU is retiring after 30 years of service. Join Freedom CCU to say goodbye and wish her well at their annual fall picnic on Thursday, September 12th at the north branch located at 2940 N. University Drive from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Her last official day in the office will be October 1st.

 

United Savings CU Seeking President/CEO

Fargo, ND based United Savings Credit Union is taking applications for a President/CEO. Requirements include: Credit Union based philosophy of excellent service to members; provide strategic direction, solid leadership, vision, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills; provide strong work ethic, high energy, maintain strong community involvement; a thorough understanding of financial concepts and financial statements; and a minimum 5 years of management experience in the financial services industry with a strong lending background.

Application closing date is September 15, 2019 with onsite interviews beginning in early November. Railway CU Seeking Member Success Specialist

Railway Credit Union is looking to add a part-time Member Success Specialist to their team. This job comes with excellent compensation based on experience. Hours range from 9:00am-3:00pm, Monday through Friday with no nights or weekends. This position is a universal position which handles all member financial transactions with the added responsibilities of opening consumer accounts, CD processing, answering phone calls, assisting members with online banking, debit card maintenance, and much more. The ideal candidate for this position has past customer service experience. Credit Unions United Chapter meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 10 at the Grand Hotel – 1505 North Broadway, Minot. Registration and social begins at 6:00 p.m. with dinner and program to follow. The top will be CPR class and recertification. Red River Chapter of Credit Unions has scheduled a meeting for Thursday, September 12 at Drekker Brewhalla—1666 1st Avenue North—Fargo ND.
