We All Like to Innovate. But How Do We Implement?
by CUAD Communications

At this year’s New Ideas Conference, we’re thrilled to welcome Elry Armaza, Custom Research Director from the Filene Research Institute. Elry will walk you through the processes involved in developing innovation competency, share specific innovation success stories, and provide you with an action-oriented way to get started in your organization today!

Elry’s passion and expertise lies in connecting the dots between critical business questions credit union supporters face and finding actionable insights by leveraging sound research methodologies. He has a gift for listening attentively to others’ needs and leveraging what he learns to help people see things in a whole new way. Applying learnings from his 15+ year career within the financial industry, Elry currently dedicates his time to ad-hoc custom research projects centered on market intelligence.

He earned his Industrial Engineering degree at Universidad Católica Boliviana and an MBA in Project Management at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. During our Filene Immersion Workshop, participants will be guided through a proven process grounded in research, education and new insights. Through this session, participants will learn best practices to overcome barriers to collaborative innovation, while engaging with your credit union colleagues. The methodology learned during this session will allow credit unions to develop an innovation competency that produces real results. Best of all, attendees will learn skills to take back to their individual credit unions that will assist them in becoming change leaders as well.

The proven Filene Method includes hands-on activities to develop your innovation and collaboration competency. For years, the Filene Research Institute has been pulling leaders out of their credit unions and into the i3 program – of Ideas, Innovation, and Implementation. The goal has been to identify the next set of innovative products and services the industry will need to remain relevant, and this has developed into the Filene Method.

We are thrilled to offer the Filene Immersion Workshop as part of our 2019 New Ideas Conference! This is one event you don’t want to miss – whether you are representing a small or a large credit union. Every credit union professional that is interested in learning about realities and possibilities for the credit union industry, as well as a strategic new thinking and reacting process, will take away some New Ideas to help you and your credit union succeed well into the future.

Plan now to join us October 7 – 9 in Rapid City and stay tuned to the Memo for more details about this upcoming event!
