A Little Facebook Creeping

Here’s an interesting little tidbit: More than 63% of Facebook users say they are likely to share a link to a holiday contest or giveaway! With Thanksgiving and Christmas fast approaching, now is the time to start thinking about setting up a contest (or two – or twelve!)

Multi-day giveaways, in which you give out prizes every day for a certain period of the month (think 12 Days of Christmas) can earn you some very active engagement on Facebook, because fans come back again and again to enter.

Need some ideas? How about an “ugliest sweater” photo contest? Best Christmas Recipe? Cutest holiday pet? Most awkward family photo? You get the idea.

Then, make sure that the prize you give away is something desirable! No more logo key tags – people want gift cards, or movie passes, or even just a free coffee at a local café! Make it fun and eye-catching, and watch the people join in!
