CUAD's CU Social Good Award

“Commitment to Community” is Cooperative Principle #6. The CUAD CU Social Good Award recognizes one credit union in each of the three asset size credit categories for a program that has made a significant impact in their community through volunteer time, actions, talents and compassionate service. Credit unions being nominated for this award must have consistently demonstrated qualities of compassion and service to either one organization or a variety of volunteer activities in one year.

Some of the criteria that will be considered for this award include:

  • Demonstrated significant contribution and impact on the community
  • Displayed commitment to work cooperatively with community partners
  • Exemplify the credit union philosophy of “people helping people”
  • Number of volunteer hours by credit union staff

Find all the information you need to nominate your credit union on the CUAD website.

All entries must be received no later than December 20, 2019 and may be mailed to 2005 N Kavaney Drive, Bismarck, or submitted electronically to Deb Kruckenberg. The CUAD Awards will be presented during the elegant awards banquet at the Annual Summit in Sioux Falls, May 4 – 6, 2020.

If your credit union is making a difference in your community, we strongly encourage you to apply for the CU Social Good Award. There are many other award opportunities for both individuals and credit unions. Details and nomination forms can be found here on the CUAD website.
