SD Legislative Credit Union Day

The first major event of 2020 will be our South Dakota Legislative Credit Union Day on Wednesday, January 29 – and this year is shaping up to be another successful gathering at the Ramkota Hotel & Conference Center in Pierre. As always, this event is FREE for CUAD members but we ask that you kindly register in advance so we may successfully plan our event. Full agenda and registration information available here.

Registration is open for the MONDAK Roundtable being held February 11 – 12 in fabulous Las Vegas. This two-day meeting is exclusively for Managers, CEOs, and volunteer board members. Escape the cold for a few days and take advantage of an incredible learning and networking opportunity in one of the most exciting places on Earth! Planning to Attend 2020 GAC?

It’s not too soon to start making plans to attend the premier credit union event of the year – the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC). This event brings more than 5,000 credit union professionals to Washington DC each year for amazing speakers and breakout sessions, plus the CUAD Hike-the-Hill meetings with our elected representatives, and more! Upcoming Chapter Events

Maurie C. Byrne Chapter Annual Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 7 at the Hilton Garden Inn – 4301 James Ray Drive – Grand Forks. Meet at 6:00 p.m. for social, with buffet starting at 6:30 p.m. The evening will include election of chapter officers and a program: State of the Credit Union Movement presented by Jay Kruse, Chief Advocacy Officer for the Credit Union Association of the Dakotas. RSVP to Sherry Levenseller.  

Credit Unions United Chapter meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 14 at Knights of Columbus – 2601 N Broadway – Minot. Meet at 6:00 p.m. for social, with dinner and program (Wellness & Nutrition – Spectrum fitness) to follow. RSVP to Beth Nelson by January 7.

Central Chapter meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 21 at Godfather’s Pizza – 195 21st Street SW – Huron. Meet at 6:00 p.m. for supper, with program to follow: BSA Training with Lisa Snedeker, Training Director, Dakotaland Federal Credit Union. RSVP to Shelby Gondzar, Dakota Rail Line Federal Credit Union by January 13.
