Capital Credit Union Promotes Brooke Johnson

Brooke Johnson was recently promoted to branch manager at Capital Credit Union’s Sunrise Branch location in Bismarck. In this role, Johnson will oversee branch operations staff, including tellers and financial services representatives, and execute sales and service strategies through the offering of all consumer loan and deposit products and services. Johnson earned an associate degree in business administration from Bismarck State College in 2014. She has been with Capital Credit Union since Sept. 2014, most recently as the assistant branch manager at the Sunrise Branch. Congratulations Brooke!

 

Railway CU Seeking Member Success Specialist

Railway Credit Union is looking to add a full-time Member Success Specialist to their team. This job comes with excellent compensation based on experience, and a great benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k with match and profit share. Hours range from 7:30am-6:00pm, Monday through Friday with no nights or weekends. This position is a universal position that handles all member financial transactions with the added responsibilities of CD processing, answering phone calls, assisting members with online banking, debit card maintenance, and more. This position requires an associate’s degree and customer service experience. SBA Offering Latest on Lending Programs in Conference Call 

Credit unions interested in the latest news on Small Business Administration lending programs can get valuable information on a Jan. 14 conference call hosted by the SBA. The call is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. CT. Registration for the conference call is now open. Registrants will receive an email containing a personalized access link. The return email will come from noreply@event-services.com, so registrants are asked to whitelist this address or add it as a contact in their email systems. Representatives from SBA leadership, program offices, and loan centers will discuss topics including: 7(a) fees; SBA Form 1502 reporting; Processing requirements for qualified trusts (401(k)s and ROBS); and IRS tax transcripts. 

 

SD Legislative Credit Union Day

The first major event of 2020 will be our South Dakota Legislative Credit Union Day on Wednesday, January 29 – and this year is shaping up to be another successful gathering at the Ramkota Hotel & Conference Center in Pierre. Pints & Politics 2020. Be sure to reserve your date now for a chapter legislative/candidate event next fall. Once again, CUAD will work closely with your chapter in scheduling and facilitating the event. We have re-booted our format to make these evenings as efficient and “legislator friendly” as possible.
