A Closer Look at What’s In Store in Vegas!
by CUAD Communications

There is still time to join us for the MONDAK Roundtable at Planet Hollywood in fabulous Las Vegas on February 11 – 12! This two-day destination meeting is exclusively for credit union managers, CEOs, and volunteer board members from the Dakotas and Montana. Each year, we have new attendees as well as many returning attendees, as the high-level sessions provide a unique opportunity to focus specifically on leadership responsibilities.

This is an incredible opportunity for decision makers to learn new strategies, meet new faces, and network and collaborate with peers. Once again, there will be specific sessions for both CEOs and credit union volunteer board members. Other presentations will cover everything from succession planning, how to develop a strategic plan, hot topics, board best practices, and navigating through change. Each session will be led by an amazing lineup of industry leaders, including:

Mark Arnold – President, On the Mark Strategies. Wondering what your credit union can do to prepare for the future needs of members? Mark will uncover what you might expect. He will also walk you through the steps to successful succession planning to prepare the next generation of leaders, and developing the ultimate strategic plan. Mark even sent a short "pre-conference" video that you can view here

Stacie VanDenBerghe – CEO, CU Innovate. Learn how to reinvent what you do so that you can stand out in the crowd. Both small and large credit unions will find motivation to create and implement changes to take your credit union to the next level. Stacie will also focus on the top 10 industry hot topics.

Rick Olson – Professional Training & Coaching Consultant. If you don’t like change, Rick is going to show you how it’s not an option – but rather, an imperative. Find out how your credit union’s leadership can create an environment for positive employee coaching and change.

Ryan Donovan – CUNA Chief Advocacy Officer. At the Credit Union National Association, Ryan is responsible for the development and implementation of the Credit Union National Association's legislative, regulatory and state government advocacy efforts. Learn more about how your credit union and the Association works with CUNA to reduce regulatory burden and legislative proposals that make it more difficult to serve their members.

Steve Rick – Chief Economist, CUNA Mutual Group. Steve is back to provide an economic update for credit unions. In his role at CMG, his responsibilities include conducting strategic research, analysis, and forecasting of the financial services industry with emphasis on the consumer and credit union markets. His forecasts serve as a starting point for the strategic planning process and help to create a clear understanding of the underlying trends and links between the general economy, the financial services industry, and CUNA Mutual Group’s policy owners.
