Town & Country CU Recognized with Readers’ Choice Award

The Minot Daily News Readers' Choice Awards has selected Town & Country Credit Union by vote once again for the title of Best Credit Union. According to a member survey, 96% of Town & Country members would recommend the credit union to a friend or family member. Member referrals fuel much of Town & Country Credit Union’s growth, helping to make them the fastest growing credit union in North Dakota according to NCUA call report data for the second year in a row. “Thank you to everyone who voted for us again this year,” said Jeremiah Kossen, CEO. “It makes us proud to know that community members and our credit union members recognize us as the #1 Credit Union in Minot. We look forward to continuing to earn that title each and every day.”

GEM FCU 80th Annual Meeting and Anniversary Open House

GEM Federal Credit Union will be holding their 80th Annual Meeting tonight - Friday, February 7th.  This event will be held at the Moose Lodge in Minot starting with a social at 6:00 p.m. The celebration will continue during an open house at the credit union at 2401 North Broadway in Minot on Wednesday, February 12th from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. The public is invited to join them for cupcakes and coffee. 


Capital CU Seeking Loan Underwriter 

Residential Mortgage Loan Underwriter (#22457) – Capital Credit Union is seeking a full-time residential mortgage loan underwriter. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package and a work environment that is challenging, rewarding and enjoyable. Preference given for experience underwriting conventional, FHA, VA loans and DE designation. Responsibilities include analyzing employment profiles, credit strength, property characteristics, and all other information pertinent to the credit decision process on each mortgage application, as presented by the mortgage loan officer.

Education equivalent to a two year college degree or a minimum of three years of related experience with progressively responsible duties and knowledge of mortgage lending is required. Ability to counsel, communicate, make good decisions and resolve complicated issues as required. A complete job description is available at the link below.
