Important Announcement Regarding 2020 Summit
by CUAD Communications
3/18/2020

In the interest of protecting our members and the greater community, we have made the decision to move the Annual Meeting and Summit to October 5 – 7, 2020 at the same venue, the Denny Sanford Premier Convention Center and Sheraton Sioux Falls. CUAD is not alone in this preventative measure as other states are rescheduling large events. We strongly feel this is the best course of action and request that you monitor our website for further updates.

The Sheraton will cancel all reservations made under our group block for the May dates. You will need to re-book for the October event if you are planning on attending.

Since the Summit will now take place when the New Ideas Conference was initially scheduled, that conference will be canceled and added back into our 2021 fall event lineup. The 2021 Annual Summit will return to spring.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. Stay safe, and we will weather this storm together!

We want to hear from you!

CUAD is here to serve our members, and one way to make sure we are doing our job to the best of our ability is to stay informed! While we are monitoring the local and national news, as well as social media, we still would like to hear from you.

Be sure to tell us what you are doing for your members, staff, and your community during this time of crisis as we are all doing our best to prevent the spread of the dreaded coronavirus. We will be aggregating the feedback and sharing in the Memo to keep you informed, and maybe even give you a few ideas of ways that your credit union can help. Email your credit union’s status and updates to Shawn Brummer.

Last but not least, CUNA and the American Association of Credit Union Leagues are also asking for our assistance in gathering data as to how Dakota Credit Unions are assisting members during this crisis. We would sincerely appreciate it if you could weigh in on this survey so that the Dakotas are included in this data collection. Here is a link to the survey.
