Dakota Plains FCU Seeking Loan Officer/Assistant Branch Manager

Dakota Plains Federal Credit Union has an opening for a Loan Officer/Assistant Branch Manager in their Pierre, South Dakota Branch. Pactola Seeking Credit Analyst

Pactola Commercial and Agricultural Lending is seeking a junior level credit analyst. The ideal candidate will have the minimum of a bachelor’s degree, excellent oral communication skills, good analytical skills, and the ability to write coherently. Previous experience in the commercial and/or agricultural lending field is not required but would be a plus. The chosen candidate will be based in Rapid City to learn under the tutelage of the Pactola team. 2021 Diamond Awards Now Open

CUNA is now accepting nominations for their 2021 Diamond Awards. The CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council has also introduced Crisis Management as its newest category, category announced in two years, bringing the total to 35 categories. The Diamond Awards are the highest credit union-specific honor for creative, results-driven solutions. Early Bird deadline is December 21, 2020 and Final Deadline is January 15, 2021. Be sure to check out the free CUNA-League System Small CU Webinar Series! This series provides actionable, relevant and operation-improving best practices while bringing free education to small credit unions on the most important issues they face. Each live webinar takes place on Tuesdays at 2:00 p.m. CT (1:00 p.m. MT) now through Spring 2021. While subjects are wide-ranging, each webinar will aim to answer many of the biggest questions facing small credit unions. *Please note: the Small CU Webinar Series is designed for credit unions $75M and under in assets.

Virtual DE Training

National Credit Union Foundation is offering their signature Credit Union Development Education (DE) Training in a virtual learning environment. Two sessions will held: September 14 – October 9 and October 26 – November 20. Each session runs for four weeks with live classes being held from 10 AM – 4 PM CT on Monday and Tuesday each week. CU4Kids Miracle Jeans Day

 

Miracle Jeans Day is approaching on Wednesday, September 9. Your credit union can help raise funds for your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital by allowing employees to wear jeans to work that day in exchange for a donation. If this date does not work, you can choose any day that works for your credit union. You can even create your own, customized, free online fundraising page! Alloya’s Leadership Symposium to be Presented Virtually

Alloya Corporate FCU has announced their 2020 Credit Union Executive Leadership Symposium will be held virtually from September 10-11. Although credit union executives from across the nation will not be able to gather in Chicago for the annual event, the corporate looks forward to hosting the event online and providing the same great education to credit union leaders free of charge. The Symposium will include two half-days of online education, beginning Thursday, September 10, at 10:30 am CT, and again on Friday, September 11, at 11:00 am CT. The virtual presentation makes it more convenient for credit union leaders to attend, and Alloya has eliminated the registration fee in continuation of its efforts to provide as much relief as possible during these uncertain economic times. ICU Day will take place on October 15 during Co-op Month. With the global crisis we are facing with COVID-19, this year’s planning may take some extra creativity! The theme and logo has been announced: Inspiring hope for a global community” – which reflects how credit unions contribute to a brighter future, even at times like this.
