Just a little reminder that you should register soon if you are planning on attending either of these upcoming CUAD events!

The Credit Union Professionals Roundtable is a great place for anyone in the credit union industry: vice presidents, senior managers, supervisors, and branch managers. This event is the perfect, casual setting to gain an understanding of the pressing issues and opportunities your credit union faces while expanding your professional network!

Besides the open forum led by Amy Kleinschmit, CUAD’s Chief Compliance Officer, time has been specifically allotted for a session on Risk Assessments, Compliance Q & A and other Association updates.

This meeting is planned for August 29 – 30 in Aberdeen, SD and it’s a real bargain at just $50 per attendee! Click here for more details and to register.

Then, CUAD’s annual IRA Training will take place in Bismarck on September 5 – 6. This event has options for both new IRA learners, as well as experienced IRA professionals.

September 5th will cover IRA essentials. This course is for those who need to learn the basics of traditional and Roth IRAs, or just want a general updated refresher on IRA rules.

September 6th is the advanced session, which builds on attendees’ basic IRA knowledge to address more complex issues. Previous IRA knowledge is assumed, and the instruction uses real-world exercises to help participants apply information to job-related situations.

Classes will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days, and the fee is $229 for each day, per person. For more information or to register, click here. Registration deadline is August 17th.
