Town & Country CU’s New Marketing Strategy Gets Attention

At the beginning of this year, Town & Country Credit Union in Minot, ND made a huge change in their marketing plan. The new strategy cast aside their old traditional advertising campaigns and complicated product changes in favor of a simpler, cleaner plan that helps their members, employees, and the entire community.

Their efforts are getting noticed. Recently, featured Town & Country in an article titled “Simple Ways to Engage Members.” In it, author Marc Rapport talks about how the credit union has cut back on traditional media, scrapped fees, improved internal processes, and deepened its community engagement.

The results of this new strategy have been very positive, exceeding goals by a wide margin. In addition, they are seeing an impressive increase in the number of youth accounts. Further, the credit union continues to donate both time and money to the community, staying highly visible to their target market.
